Our Story
NeuroGlide Shield started in 2014 with a simple observation: most people were training hard but not training smart. Gyms were full of people following generic programmes, pushing through pain, and wondering why results weren't coming. The disconnect between what research showed worked and what was actually being practised was massive.
Our founder, a former competitive athlete turned sports scientist, saw this gap and decided to do something about it. What began as small group coaching sessions in a borrowed gym space evolved into a comprehensive coaching practice built on evidence-based training principles.
Over the years, we've refined our approach through thousands of coaching hours, continuous education, and feedback from the athletes we've worked with. We've learned that sustainable results come from understanding each person's unique physiology, respecting their recovery capacity, and building programmes that fit their life rather than forcing their life to fit a programme.
Today, we work with everyone from competitive athletes preparing for major events to busy professionals who simply want to feel stronger and move better. What unites all our clients is a commitment to doing things properly and a willingness to invest in their long-term health.
